Traditional Chinese massage
Two types of traditional Chinese massage exist - Tui na (õÏÑÚ) which focuses on pushing, stretching and kneading the muscle and Zhi Ya (ò¦äâ) which focuses on pinching and pressing at acupressure points. Both are based on principles from Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep Tissue massage is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity, such as athletes, and patients who have sustained physical injury.
Thai massage
Thai massage originated in India and is based on ayurveda and yoga. The technique combines massage with yoga-like positions during the course of the massage; the northern style emphasizes stretching while the southern style emphasizes acupressure.
Nihon Kaifuku Anma
Nihon Kaifuku Anma is the Japanese restoration massage. It is used in some Japanese martial arts. Anma Massage is the art of Japanese massage originated in China 3000 years ago and was introduced to Japan about 1300 years ago. Swedish[citation needed] and Shiatsu are among the massage forms that grew out of this rich tradition. Anma is deep tissue work using no oils and is based on kneading movements.
Anma
Anma is not Shiatsu but Shiatsu is a part of Anma. It was not until 1964 that Shiatsu was recognized as distinct and independent from Anma massage. Originally a Shiatsu therapist was a specialist who performed one Anma technique, the pressure method (Ap Paku Ho). Anma's foundation is the kneading technique, which combines with several different application techniques to construct the massage. The kneading technique (Ju Netsu Ho) and the percussion techniques (Ko Da Ho and Kyoku Te Ho) are a unique part of Anma and are not found in any other style of massage.

Prostate massage is part of the digital rectal examination (DRE) routinely given to men by urologists in order to look for nodules of prostate cancer and to obtain expressed prostatic secretions (EPS) for examination under microscope.
In the late 1990s, some doctors tried prostate massage in conjunction with antibiotics for the treatment of chronic bacterial prostatitis with uncertain results. In recent trials, however, prostate massage was not shown to improve outcomes compared to antibiotics alone. As a consequence of these findings, prostate massage is not used in the treatment of any medical disorder today, and prostate massage should never be performed on patients with acute prostatitis, because the infection can spread elsewhere in the body if massage is performed.
In addition, prostate massage can be risky. Some of the documented consequences are life-threatening periprostatic hemorrhage, cellulitis, Fournier's gangrene, septicaemia, possible disturbance and metastasis of prostate cancer to other parts of the body, and hemorrhoidal flare-up.
Electroejaculation is a procedure in which nerves are stimulated via an electric probe, which is inserted into the rectum adjacent to the prostate. It is most commonly encountered in animal husbandry for the purpose of collecting semen samples for testing or breeding.
